The goals of the Archives, Manuscripts & Special Collections Round Table (AMSC) are to promote the work and development of archives and special collections in Utah by fostering cooperation and collaboration between all levels of professionals; by sharing knowledge of the highest standards in processing, preservation & accessibility; and by promoting the widespread use of archives & special collections.

2019 FALL WORKSHOP PROGRAM

The 2019 Fall Workshop will be held on Friday, September 27, at the Brigham City Public Library. Breakout sessions of particular interest to the Round Table include “Special Collections in Public Libraries” and “Incorporating Historic Government Documents into Instruction and Outreach.” Register before Wednesday, September 18, for a $5 discount!

CIMA/SAA WORKSHOP

The Conference of Intermountain Archivists (CIMA) and the Society for American Archivists (SAA) are co-hosting a 2-day conference in Salt Lake City. The first workshop, “Teaching With Primary Sources: How to Design For Active Learning #2019,” will be held on Thursday, October 24. The second day, co-sponsored by the Utah Manuscripts Association and CIMA, is entitled “Primary Source Literacy: The Art of Engagement” and will be held on Friday, October 25.
