More information about the grants:

The National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Mid-Continental Region is thrilled to announce our 2019-2020 funding opportunities! Note the deadline for application is May 31, 2019. You can see the full list of opportunities on our website at https://nnlm.gov/mcr/funding.

We have a lot of new funding opportunities to support all types of libraries, library staff, and community-based organizations. This year the Mid-Continental Regional Medical Library has nearly $90,000 in sub-award funds and nearly $110,000 from the NNLM All of Us program. You don’t want to miss out on this!

For inspiration read how one library tackled community needs with help from the NNLM. A Colorado library used a NNLM MCR grant to support cooking demonstrations, discussions with kids about the digestive system, classes on nutrition, and a program for parents on emotional well being. Grants may be available for programming, community engagement, staff professional development, or technology upgrades, among other project areas.
