Dear Utah Library Association Member,

Click here to submit a program or here to see the information needed to submit a program. The 2018 conference will be held at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah from May 16th-18th. This year’s theme is Level Up.
Please consider sharing your expertise with your colleagues from around the state by submitting a conference program proposal. We are looking for programs of a variety of lengths (Pre-Conference – 3 hours, Speaker/Panel Session – 50 minutes, Speaker/Panel Session – 20 minutes or Lightning Talk – 10 minutes) and on any topic applicable to libraries. Last year’s attendees expressed particular interest in more programs on the following topics:
- Adult or Senior Citizen Programming
- Author Sessions
- Collection Development
- Digitization
- Fundraising
- Intellectual Freedom
- Leadership
- LGBTQ & Diversity
- Marketing
- Staff Training & Development
- Special Collections
- Technical Services
Extra consideration will be given to programs covering the topics listed above, however all submissions will be considered.
I am looking forward to seeing another great crop of submissions from a great group of people.
Thanks,
Patrick Hoecherl, Program Board Chair: phoecherl@slcpl.org
