Welcome to the ULA conference! This year’s conference theme is: Utah Libraries: Turning Up The Volume!
Sessions of this conference are intended to help libraries address and surmount today’s challenges. They are meant to ready us for tomorrow. I am confident that every attendee will find challenging and stimulating ideas during the conference. Even more, I expect that you will find ways and means of implementing those ideas into positive action.
Utah libraries are not sitting idle. I do not expect that attendees will find much idle time at this conference – the premiere, annual event of the Association. Be engaged during the conference. Attend as much as you can. Visit the vendors and see what is offered to help librarians. Listen, learn, and implement. From the business meeting to the keynote address, from the awards to the luncheon speakers, every aspect of the 2009 conference is meant to challenge and inspire.
